Drivers’ strikes to shut down Cotswold Line

Cotswold Line train services are set to be disrupted again by strike action at the start of February.

Due to strikes over pay and conditions by train drivers who are members of the Aslef and RMT trade unions on Wednesday, February 1, and Friday, February 3, trains will not run on most of the GWR network, including between Oxford, Worcester and Hereford

And services on the route may be altered on Thursday, February 2.

GWR has yet to announce whether it will be able to operate a limited service between Oxford, Reading and London Paddington on the days of the strikes.
