After meeting Carl, the newly appointed GWR booking clerk, this morning, The Cotswold Line Promotion Group is pleased to be able to say that the ticket office at Charlbury Station will re-open next Monday, 22nd July. Initially, hours will be 05.50 to 12.20 from Monday to Friday, with Saturday opening planned for a yet-to-be-determined date. After the very long period of closure, I’m sure users of the rail service will welcome this news and will wish Carl every success in his new post.
