Save by taking the train to Moreton Show

Visitors to the 2019 Moreton-in-Marsh Show can get discounted admission prices if they travel to the event by train.

Anyone showing a rail ticket valid for travel to Moreton-in-Marsh on the day of this year’s show, Saturday, September 7, can buy tickets at the entrance at the advance purchase prices, rather than the show’s normal pay-on-the-gate rates.

This means that adult tickets for rail passengers will cost £16 instead of £19, tickets for children are £6 instead of £8 and family tickets (two adults and three children) are £42 instead of £50.

Catching a train to Moreton Show is also a great way to avoid traffic queues entering and leaving the show.

The showground, in Batsford Road, is open from 8.30am to 6pm and is a five-minute walk from Moreton-in-Marsh station. Leave the station car park through the northern access footpath past the Budgens supermarket and cross the A429 Fosseway to walk through Queen Victoria Gardens to the showground entrance.

The CLPG information stand will be at the event once again. We will be at stand number 198, in front of the Retail Pavilion at the eastern end of the showground. Please pay us a visit if you are going to be at the show.

  • Great Western Railway (GWR) will be running a normal Saturday train service on the Cotswold Line on the day of the show. Click here for timetable details. The Cotswold Line is timetable T6.
