Worcestershire Stitch Train tapestries go on display

Worcestershire Community Rail Partnership is inviting people to attened its Stitch Train Artwork event in Worcester on Friday, July 23, to see tapestries created to celebrate the county’s railways.

More than 300 people in communities across the county took part in the project, which features designs based on West Midlands Railway’s new Class 196 trains and Great Western Railway’s Intercity Express Trains.

The display will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm in the Lower Hall of Worcester’s Guildhall, in High Street. The event is free of charge.
