Make tracks on your bike with Wheels2Rail days

Two free cycling themed family days are taking place at Evesham and Pershore railway stations in August, thanks to the Worcestershire Community Rail Partnership and Wychavon District Council.

The Wheels 2 Rails days run between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, August 14, at Evesham station and on Saturday, August 28, at Pershore station.

Cyclists can bring their bikes along any time for a free maintenance check from Dr Bike and have them security marked, so they can be tracked if they are stolen.

Information will also be available about cycling routes in the area, including the Evesham Vale Rail Trails app.

Free family cycling sessions are also taking place on both days between 10am and noon and 2pm and 4pm.

The sessions are led by a qualified Bikeability instructor and will help families learn to ride together with confidence in different situations, including cycling to their local railway station. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. The Evesham session starts from Evesham Leisure Centre and the Pershore session from Pershore Leisure Centre.
