Strikes to shut Cotswold Line again

Cotswold Line train services will again be severely disrupted by strike action over the coming week.

Due to strikes over pay by staff who are members of the trade unions Aslef, RMT and TSSA, and knock-on effects from the strikes, GWR trains will not run between Oxford, Worcester and Hereford on the following days:

  • Saturday, August 13
  • Sunday, August 14
  • Thursday, August 18
  • Saturday, August 20

Alterations to serices on the route are also expected on Friday, August 19.

Limited services will continue to run between Oxford, Reading and London Paddington on the days of the strikes, but passengers may need to change trains at Reading or Didcot Parkway.
