Strikes shut down services for three days

Train will not run on the Cotswold Line today, May 31, nor on Friday and Saturday, June 2 & 3, due to strikes called by the Aslef and RMT unions in disputes over pay and conditions.

The walkouts also mean that GWR services between Worcester, Gloucester and Bristol will not operate on these days.

However, a near-normal timetable is expected to operate on all GWR routes on Thursday, June 1.

West Midlands Railway will not be operating any services between Birmingham, Worcester and Hereford, nor between Worcester and Kidderminster on the three strike days.
