Engineering work means changes to late-night trains

Late-night trains on the Cotswold Line will be affected by engineering work from Sunday, January 26, until Thursday, January 30.

On the Sunday, GWR’s 21.46 train from London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will terminate at Didcot Parkway, where a replacement bus will take passengers to Hanborough to join a train to Worcester, departing at 23.42. A bus connection to Hanborough will also be provided from Oxford, leaving the station forecourt at 23.10.

From Monday to Thursday, the 21.50 from London to Worcester will be diverted, calling at Didcot Parkway for a rail connection to Oxford, then running non-stop to Worcester via Stroud. A bus will replace this train at Cotswold Line stations beyond Oxford.

On the Monday and Tuesday evenings, the 22.50 from London will terminate at Oxford. Note that there will not be a replacement bus for this train beyond Oxford.

On the Wednesday and Thursday evenings, the 22.50 from London will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh, where a replacement bus will take passengers on to Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcester.

The 22.00 from Hereford to London will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill from Monday to Thursday. A replacement bus will call at stations to Oxford, but there will not be an onward connection from Oxford to London.
