Late-night timetable changes for engineering work

Late-night trains on the Cotswold Line will be affected by engineering work from Monday, October 18, until Thursday, October 21.

From Monday to Wednesday, the 21.50 from London to Worcester will be diverted, calling at Didcot Parkway for a rail connection to Oxford, then running non-stop to Worcester via Stroud. A bus will replace this train at Cotswold Line stations beyond Oxford. The 22.50 from Paddington to Worestershire Parkway will terminate at Oxford and a bus will replace this train at stations to Worcester.

On Thursday, the 21.50 from London to Worcester will again be diverted, but the connecting train from Didcot Parkway will run to Moreton-in-Marsh this evening, from where a replacement bus will serve remaining stations to Worcester Shrub Hill. And the 22.50 from London will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh, where a replacement bus will take passengers on to Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway.

In the opposite direction, the 22.00 from Hereford to London will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill from Monday to Thursday. A non-stop bus will run from Worcester to Oxford for an onward connecting train from Oxford to London. Another replacement bus will run from Worcester calling at intermediate stations to Oxford, but there will not be an onward connection.
